Eaglewatcher has evolved out of our consultative operations under the banner H.G. Smith & Associates. As an agency grows, differential use of staff and operating locales change after being based in Cochrane, Alberta for 10 years, part of the Eaglewatcher team now operates out of Nanaimo, BC while the other part of the team continues based out of Cochrane.
H.G. Smith & Associates continues to operate as a management consultation agency to a variety of First Nations programs and communities.
Knowledge & Experience
The design and content for the software has evolved out of the experience of one of the principles in the group, Huber Smith, who has worked with and contributed to the management of operations, specialized service delivery programs and specific project process.
With 33 years experience within a variety of First Nations communities and operational settings, the realities of the need for sound department structure and operating process have contributed to the development of the software system. It is intended as a strong tool to help staff operate comprehensively and in ways that enhance community growth and responsible governance within all departments.
